Holiday Rental Sonnenberg in Jagsthausen

Enjoy your stay in Jagsthausen in a spacious 100 square meter apartment. The holiday rental can be accessed through the main front entrance or through the rear garden entrance. The apartment in Jagsthausen was equipped and first offered for rental in summer 2021. The use of bedding and towels is included in the price. 

Large bedroom: Queen-size bed, single bed, wardrobe with hangers, desk with chair

Smaller bedroom: 2 single beds, wardrobe with hangers, shelf, table with two chairs 

Living room: Pull-out corner sofa, sofa table, dining table with four chairs, TV board with satellite TV, blu-ray player, mini-system (CD player, USB port, Bluetooth). 2 cabinets with glasses for red, white and sparkling wine, beer and wheat beer, schnapps 

Kitchen: Fridge with freezer compartment, spacious countertop with cabinets for storage of food (supplied by you), stove, oven, sink, draining board, dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, pots and pans, cooking utensils, mixing bowl, strainer, knife block, cutting boards, tableware (plates for soup, dinner and breakfast, coffee cups and mugs, egg cups, cutlery, glasses for water and juice). kitchen linens (tea towels and dish cloths).

Bathroom / toilet: Shower, two sinks, large mirror, small and large towels, face cloths, cabinet with space for your toiletries, radio with Bluetooth, separate toilet with sink

Storeroom: Iron and ironing board, laundry rack, vacuum cleaner

Hallway: Wardrobe, storage room (e. g. for your shoes), sideboard with spare bedding and towels, display stand with brochures

Between the entrance and the hallway you will find a safe space to store your bicycles, baby stollers or suitcases

Patio: Holiday rental guests are invited to enjoy using the garden amenities that include the barbeque, seating arrangement and parasol 

The villa was built in 1922 and though its exterior retains the original charm, it has been extensively modernized for the maximum comfort of our guests.

The holiday rental uses a pellet central heating system. Ceiling lights illuminate the rooms.

A clean and safe environment is very important to us. Bedding is free from feathers / downs, since synthetic materials are washable and suited for people with allergies. Of course, you will receive bedding that has previously been washed and was treated with a disinfectant laundry additive. You may also bring your own bedding, if you prefer.

The apartment will be thoroughly cleaned  before your arrival. Cleaning supplies are available for guests’ use during your visit. Depending on the duration of your visit, basic housekeeping services will be arranged.

Prices: from 90 EUR / night. Please enter the requested date of arrival, the date of departure as well as the number of guests into the corresponding fields and check for availability. You will then get the exact prices for the desired period. A discount of 10 per cent is granted if you stay longer than five nights. Prices include water, electricity, heating, cleaning after your departure, bedding and towels. Prices include 7 per cent VAT und apply to the use of the holiday rental and garden amenities. 

Booking for up to five people is possible via this website. The sofa in the living-room can be pulled out and used for sleeping by up to two more guests. Please send us an email if you are interested in this option.

We only offer individual overnight stays on request and with a surcharge of 35 euros (cleaning flat rate). Please contact us in case of need.

The holiday rental is located in a side street with not much traffic. You may park your car in front of the house or in the parking lots nearby. The next train station is Möckmühl; a bus stop can be found close to the holiday rental. Autobahn A6, exit Möckmühl: about 15 minutes to Jagsthausen. Autobahn A81, exit Neuenstein: about 20 minutes to Jagsthausen.

Right around the corner, you can find the Dorfladen – a small supermarket offering food products and more. You may also enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, ice cream and cake in its Café or on their patio. The Jagst River is right behind the Dorfladen and invites you to rest in the sun or go for a swim.

The restaurants Rotes Schloss and Schmiedeeck as well as a takeaway for doner and pizza are also nearby. A public playground can be reached easily from the Villa.

Are you a passionate hiker or love to bicycle? Or do you rather wish to discover the smaller or larger cultural treasures of the area? No matter which option you chose – in and around Jagsthausen all this is possible.

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe was inspired to write a drama on Götz von Berlichingen, who lived in the 15th / 16th century. The castle Götzenburg, where von Berlichingen spent some time during his childhood, is just around the corner. Von Berlichingen's grave can be found at Schöntal Abbey - just a stone’s throw from Jagsthausen.

The Romans have left their marks in and around Jagsthausen. The famous UNESCO World Heritage Site “German Limes Road” is close by. Numerous palaces and castles can be discovered in the area too.

The rivers Jagst and Kocher invite you to enjoy the flora and fauna of the region. Day trips to Heilbronn, Würzburg, Stuttgart, Rothenburg ob der Tauber and  Ludwigsburg are easily possible from the holiday rental in Jagsthausen.

Children and adults come from far to enjoy the adventure and animal park Tripsdrill. Animal lovers might also enjoy the animal park in Bad Mergentheim and the falconries in the area.
